Our Robostangs robotics team participated in the FIRST Tech Challenge San Jose competition, their second and final competition this year. Middle school students A Remi, N. Ramkumar, M. Nagarcenkar, T. Ershova, and D. Lagu learned much from the previous tournament. Using their newfound knowledge, they returned to the drawing board to redesign their robot, which included an entirely new robotic arm that could rapidly ascend three feet into the air to place cones in high places. Their hard work earned the team the Judges Choice Award! Congratulations Robostangs!
