After School Extracurricular Activities

At Monticello Academy, we recognize that many important aspects of a student’s school experience happen outside the classroom.

Students who regularly participated in after-school programs exhibited notable improvements in work habits and behavior, as well as academic performance. Students can develop time-management skills, build self-esteem, and practice goal-setting. While it may be tough to squeeze in after-school activities, the benefits are well worth the extra effort.

At Monticello Academy, we have many types of extracurricular activities that your child can enjoy, from sport to music, robotics, foreign languages, and more. If you'd like to explore the many classes we offer or to register, visit the links in the student life categories below.

  • STEM and Academic Clubs

Monticello Academy offers a variety of Academic and STEM activities to enrich your child’s education.   Learners can immerse themselves in a new culture and language or fire up their neurons by joining our Math and Chess classes.  Students can also develop critical thinking, CS, and engineering skills through our robotics and programming clubs. There is no shortage of academic opportunities in our school.

  • Athletic Clubs

The heart of the Mustangs beats strong when it comes to athletics.  Students develop a powerful body and mind by training with one of our competitive teams.  We have produced many well-rounded athletes. Our Taekwondo team has journeyed across the country and has members who have won National Championships and an athlete who became a member of the US National Team.
