Robotics: FIRST Lego League (FLL) Competition
Semester 1 only (fall)
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Prerequisites and Enrollment Criteria
Students must commit 1 hour per week after school to building and programming their robot and working on their Innovation Project.
Letter grade (i.e. A, B, C, D, F scale)
A semester-long course designed to compete in the First Lego League tournament in November/December. Students will design, build and program a Lego Robot to complete a variety of tasks and games completely autonomously. Additionally, students will research and create an innovative project designed to help solve a real-world issue. Students will develop skills in collaboration, basic STEM concepts, critical thinking, presentation, and research. Students are required to attend the FLL Competition held in November and spend at least 1 hour each week after school working on their robot.
